Sessions will take place at Athens Church. High school small groups will be staying in a local family’s home with their small group and small group leaders. These homes have been background-checked and approved by our staff. You will receive the contact information and address of your student’s Host Home at check-in.

Totally up to you! There will be plenty of food at meals, but you never know when your student needs a little boost.

Linens - sleeping bag, pillow, and bath towel

Clothes - comfortable clothes for the weather, sleeping clothes, sweatshirt/jacket

Small group leaders and background-checked volunteers will transport students throughout the weekend in their personal vehicles and/or rental vehicles. We ask that students not transport themselves during the weekend.

High school students will stay at host homes but Middle school students will just attend the sessions with their group.

Middle school students will need to be picked up after each session on Friday and Saturday night at the Middle school doors. If your student has a phone, make sure they are checking it to find you. Otherwise, designate with your student a pick up time and location during check in.

We care about your student’s safety. Please indicate any food allergies in your student’s registration.

While we discourage students leaving The Mix throughout the weekend, we understand that some students may have prior obligations. If your student needs to leave The Mix for a period of time, please complete this Time Away form so we know when to expect your student

To ensure a safe and excellent experience for all students, there are a few things that will cause your student to be removed from the retreat. This includes fighting, leaving the campus or host home away from their small group, inappropriate behavior with guys and girls, and drugs, alcohol, and any form of tobacco.
