This is an important position for our church, one that is not to be taken lightly. Before completing this application, please take time to read 1 Timothy 3:1-11, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-7, which describe the qualifications for elders. In addition to the general qualifications listed in these texts, we ask that those seeking the office of elder be men who, along with their wives, have remained in their first marriages.
