About Alex
Counseling was never on my radar growing up. Like a lot of young men, I believed asking for help meant something was wrong with you. My own experience in counseling changed that perspective and ultimately led me to this work. Today, I have the privilege of working with children, teens, college students, and their families as they navigate ADHD, anxiety, neurodiversity, emotional regulation, grief, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, integrating Adlerian Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet each client's unique needs. I believe every person has inherent strengths and the capacity for growth, even during life's most difficult seasons. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients gain practical skills, build confidence, and make meaningful progress toward the life they want to live.
