About Candace
Candace received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Health Promotion & Education and went on to receive her masters degree from Richmont Graduate University in Professional Counseling. She spent the beginning of her career working in a residential family therapy program where she learned how to help families improve the overall functioning of family members and the relationships within the family. Candace brings that family focused perspective to her private practice in Athens where she works with kids+parents, parents, couples, individual adults and families. Candace works from a Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral theoretical perspective. Outside of her work in private practice, Candace is developing a tech approach for a classic therapeutic tool, the genogram. She is married and has two children.
