About Debi
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when your life looks fine from the outside but no longer feels right on the inside. You may feel stuck, anxious, disconnected from yourself, or unsure what comes next. Maybe you are walking through a life transition, relationship stress, grief, anxiety, trauma, or a season where something just feels like it needs to change.
I work with adults and college students who are trying to better understand themselves, their stories, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Many of the people I sit with are asking deeper questions: Who am I beyond the roles I’ve filled? Why do I keep responding this way? What is God inviting me to notice in this season? Is it too late to begin again?
My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and grounded in hope. I believe healing involves the whole person — emotionally, mentally, relationally, physically, and spiritually. For clients who want to include their faith in counseling, I am comfortable bringing in prayer, Scripture, biblical wisdom, and conversations about God alongside evidence-based counseling practices.
Together, we’ll slow things down, look at what has shaped you, and begin to make space for healing, clarity, and courage. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes change begins with simply being willing to take the next right step.
I’d be glad to connect, hear what’s bringing you to therapy, and help you decide whether we might be a good fit.
