The people that come to see me are used to being able to handle anything life throws at them. They are high achieving and successful at school and work. Other people have high expectations of them that they can usually meet. But, at some point, they begin to feel that perfectionism and the pace of life has worn them out. Something has changed and the ways they’ve coped in the past aren’t as effective as before.
