About Emily
My approach to therapy is grounded in helping you build self-awareness, heal from within, and create more room in your life for calm, confidence, and connection with yourself and others. In our work together, we’ll gently explore your story using tools from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and attachment theory. Together, we’ll work on breaking old patterns that no longer serve you, learning how to relate to yourself with more compassion, and moving toward the goals that matter most to you. I take a holistic and nonpathologizing approach, meaning I consider all parts of your experience—mental, emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and environmental. Whatever you're going through right now, know that you don’t have to face it alone. I believe in the power of healing, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Common areas I work with clients on are: family dynamics/conflict, dating, anxiety/depression, self-esteem, school stress and burnout, people pleasing, Spiritual concerns and/or Spiritual growth, and life transitions. I work with clients ages 13+. I enjoy utilizing Biblical principles when desired by my clients.
I have expertise/advanced training in the following areas:
-Helping young adults navigate their college years
-Navigating family conflict
-Spiritual growth and/or concerns
-Internal Family Systems (IFS)
