About Erica
Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving the greater Athens area. She is an affiliate of StressCare Counseling in Athens, GA. She has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has been providing counseling services since 2013. She specializes in Emotionally Focused therapy for late adolescents, adult individuals, couples and families.
Her passion is to provide a safe space for clients to explore how their relationships and experiences impact who they are, and how they can grow and live life with balance, purpose and meaning. She believes that emotional healing and growth most effectively takes place in the context of relationships. Thus, her aim is to provide a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and personal to each client’s needs and goals. Her approach is holistic as she believes it is important to consider all aspects of a client’s life including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. She is committed to the therapeutic process for her clients and seeks to work with them in becoming who they want to be.
