College Nights

During the school year, Athens Church hosts monthly gatherings on Tuesday nights exclusively for college students. These College Nights feature hang out time, worship, and teaching from the Bible, and are incredible opportunities not only for students to meet one another and have some fun! The last College Nights of the year is Tuesday, April 9th at 7:30 PM.

College Community Groups

We offer small groups for college students based on gender and class. In a college community group, students meet weekly with about 10 other guys or girls in the home of an adult leader from the church, with the goal of both growing spiritually and experiencing community. Online registration for fall 2024 college community groups opens August 11.

Volunteering on Sundays

We invite all college students to not just attend, but volunteer at Athens Church as well. On these strategic service teams, students are able to make friends and use their leadership gifts to serve others. Teams include guest services, production, and children’s environments preK through high school.

Leadership Development Program

The Leadership Development Program is a leadership journey that combines hands-on ministry experience with practical leadership training. Each school year, we hire about a dozen LDP college staff to be a part of our team, and they work approximately 20 hours a week. Applications are CLOSED.

Sunday Morning Services

Join us at 9:15 or 11:00 for our Sunday morning church services. Services last about one hour, and it’s a great opportunity to meet other college students and also worship alongside Athens area families. If it’s your first time, make sure to stop by The Studio for a free “Athens, I Love You” gift! It’s just our way of saying thanks for taking the time to come visit.
