Join the Launch Team

For the last 18 years, we've encouraged people who call Athens Church home to take steps towards four key areas of participation. We call these areas:

Connect

Serve

Give

Invite

We believe these four things move people towards not only experiencing all Athens Church can be in their story, but also towards a unique ownership of the Athens Church experience. For those who will make up the Launch Team of Athens Church Beechwood, we are asking you to commit to the following agreements based on these four critical areas of experience and ownership.

In order for us to start the Beechwood location of Athens Church as healthy as possible, we ask that you commit to these agreements for 12 months after the launch.

Your Information

As part of the Launch Team for Athens Church Beechwood, I/we agree to:

  • Attend Launch Team Gatherings to connect with other launch team members in community & prayer and make Athens Church Beechwood my/our family's church location after the launch.

  • Support the Athens Church Beechwood project financially by making a pledge above my/our usual tithe and offering through May 2025.

  • Serve on a recurring basis at Athens Church Beechwood in the ministry area that best utilizes my/our gifts: Waumba Land, UpStreet, Students, Guest Services, Starting Point, or Groups.

  • Invite at least one other family to join us/me at Athens Church Beechwood within the first year of launch.
