    • Can you be successful in one area and a failure in another?

    • Who defined success for you?

    • Who are you trying to impress?
    • Who should you be trying to impress?

  • Read 2 Timothy 4:6-8
    • What reward are you expecting for finishing the race well?
  • Read Acts 9:1-2
    • Did Paul (who was called Saul) start out the race well?
    • What was he doing?
  • Read Acts 9:3-25
    • What happened next to Saul? 
    • How did he respond?
  • Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
    • Once Paul got a mission, from God he went after it wholeheartedly. What have you felt God calling you to do?
    • Have you gone after it wholeheartedly or are you still making excuses?

  • Why has God given you another day to live?
  • Do you know the purpose that God has for you? 
    • How can we as a group encourage you and support you in walking in that purpose?
  • Is it possible that you feel like a failure because you are running someone else’s race?
    • How can we as a group help you gain clarity in your purpose?
  • How can we as a group encourage each other to finish the race well?
    • How can we help each other find our purpose, to pursue our purpose, and to be faithful in our purpose until the end?
