Choose Your Group

Start with the person.

The adaptive finder asks a short set of relevant questions, keeps every answer editable, and presents a useful list without requiring a login.

The process

Fewer decisions.
Better context.

Choose a group type

The first answer sets the path. Adult, Married, and College visitors move through questions and vocabulary that fit the kind of group they want.

Refine the possibilities

Schedule, stage of life, location, and other relevant preferences update the suggestions while a live sidebar keeps the person in control.

Register directly

A person can explore and choose without logging in. If Rock finds an existing group membership, it lets them keep it or move themselves.

The user experience

The best way to understand it is to use it.

Answer a few questions, adjust your preferences, and watch the suggestions respond.

How matching works

A second tier.
A second chance.

Most group finders only narrow the list. This one can tell the difference between a true mismatch and information a group has not recorded yet. Our version filters the exact matches but classification allows for the next possibilities to stay visible.

01 · HTMX

Answers stay live.

Each answer updates the finder without reloading the page, so a person can adjust a preference and immediately see what changes.

02 · Lava

Groups are classified.

Lava separates a known mismatch from a missing value instead of treating both as a reason to remove the group.

Your Best Matches

Everything lines up.

Every selected preference has a recorded value, and each one matches.

Other Suggestions

There may still be a fit.

Nothing conflicts, but one or more selected preferences are missing from the group’s information.

Known mismatch? The group stays out of the results. Category and gender always remain strict.

Key Win

There is always a group option, no matter what you choose.

Even when no group matches every preference exactly, the finder still offers a possible place to start. Category and gender stay strict, so every suggestion remains relevant to the kind of group the person chose.

Other preferences can move a group from Best Matches to Other Suggestions without ending the search. The results may say that no group fits every detail, but they never say there is no place for you. There is still a group to consider—and a clear message that you belong here.
