UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
APRIL 2 Bottom Line: Jesus is a friend who cares. (John 13; 14:1-4) Ask: How did Jesus show his friends he cared about them? How does it make you feel knowing that Jesus cares so much about you?
APRIL 9 Bottom Line:Jesus loves us more than anything. (Matthew 26:36-68; John 15:13) Ask: Why didn’t Jesus stop the people from arresting him?
APRIL 16 Bottom Line: Jesus came to be our Savior. (Luke 23; 24:1-9) Ask: Why is today a day to celebrate?
APRIL 23 Bottom Line: Jesus wants us to believe in him. (John 20:19-30) Ask: What did Jesus do to help Thomas believe in him? Why does he want you to believe too?
APRIL 30 Bottom Line: Jesus never stops loving us. (John 18:15-27) Ask: Have you ever done something wrong and worried that Jesus was angry? Does it help knowing that Jesus never stops loving us?
