UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
MAY 6 Bottom Line: Don’t fight with your family. (Genesis 13:5-18; Romans 12:18) Ask: What are some ways that you can choose peace with your parents and siblings?
MAY 13 Bottom Line: Peace is more important than winning. (Genesis 26:12-33; Romans 12:18) Ask: Why does God want us to choose peace?
MAY 20 Bottom Line: Do whatever you can to make peace. (1 Samuel 25:1-35; Romans 12:18) Ask: Who are some people you can ask to help you when it’s difficult to make peace with someone who is mean to you?
