UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
OCTOBER 1 Bottom Line: Wait without complaining. (Exodus 32:1–7, 15–24, 30–34) Ask: Think of a time when it was hard for you to wait without complaining. What could you do better next time?
OCTOBER 8 Bottom Line: When you are patient, you show others that you care. (Ephesians 4:2) Ask: Who in our family is it hard for you to be patient with? What could you do this week to be patient with them?
OCTOBER 15 Bottom Line: Be patient with others because others are patient with you. (Matthew 18:23-35) Ask: Can you think of a time when someone was patient and had to wait on you to do something? How did it make you feel when they waited and did not complain?
OCTOBER 22 Bottom Line: Having patience will keep you out of trouble. (Proverbs 15:18) Ask: Can you think of a time that your impatience got you in trouble? How could you have handled it differently?
