UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
JUNE 4 Bottom Line: Nothing is more powerful than God. (Joshua 6) Ask: Have you ever had a problem that was too big to fix on your own? Is there ever a problem that is too big for God to fix?
JUNE 11 Bottom Line: You can always count on God. Be confident. (Daniel 6) Ask: Have you ever been afraid to do the right thing? What does God want us to do when we are faced with this choice?
JUNE 18 Bottom Line: You don’t have to get even. Show forgiveness! (Genesis 32:1 – 33:15) Ask: Has anyone ever done something to you that hurt your feelings? What superpower does God want us to use in response?
JUNE 25 Bottom Line: God is with you. Be courageous! (Joshua 1:9) Ask: What does courage mean to you? How does knowing that God is with you make it easier to be courageous?
