UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
September 3 Bottom Line: When you can be trusted with a little, you can be trusted with a lot. (Matthew 25:14-30) Ask: What are some little things that you can do every day to show your parents, teachers, and coaches that you can be trusted with a lot?
September 10 Bottom Line: Take care of what has been given to you. (Genesis 2:15) Ask: What are some responsibilities that have been given to you? How can you show that you take good care of your things?
September 17 Bottom Line: When there’s a job to be done, do it. (Nehemiah 1-6) Ask: What are some tasks that you can start “owning” to help out around the house?
September 24 Bottom Line: Do your best when there’s a job to be done. (Daniel 6:1-4) Ask: What can you do to “level-up” with responsibilities that your parents and teachers give to you?
