UpStreet is for elementary-aged children and takes place every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00.
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
The main focus on UpStreet are our small groups. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
THIS MONTH ON UPSTREET
MARCH 5 Bottom Line: God will forgive me when I do something wrong. Ask: Have you ever felt bad about doing something wrong? What does God do when you do something wrong and ask for forgiveness?
MARCH 12 Bottom Line: Forgive others no matter what. Ask: We all need forgiveness sometimes, when is a time you have been in need of forgiveness? What about someone else, like a friend of a sister or brother?
MARCH 19 Bottom Line: When you forgive others, you show them that you love them. Ask: How do you think the son from the story today felt when his father forgave him? Has anyone ever forgiven you when you did something wrong? How did that make you feel?
MARCH 26 Bottom Line: Forgive because you have been forgiven. Ask: How does it feeling knowing that God has already forgiven you for what you have done wrong? Since we know God has forgiven us, what should we do for others?
